Shop

The RTDGS shop serves both Stourbridge and Fairfax plot-holders. It is stocked with a good range of useful items, and our prices are cheaper than garden centres. The shop also manages potato and seed orders for plot-holders every year. The Allotment Shop is located near the main entrance to the Stourbridge Grove site.

The shop is open on Saturdays (11:00 to 12:00) and Sundays (14:00 to 15:00) from February to November. It is closed during August.

Items usually in stock include:

composts, manure, strulch, fertilisers and liquid feeds,soil improvers,

ground cover fabric enviromesh and fleece, and a range of nettings/fabrics,

tree stakes, bamboo canes,

seeds,

twine, wire, watering cans, trugs,

and more.....

We only accept cash or cheques (no money is kept in the building when the shop is closed).

​​Through the shop, from October onwards, you can collect order forms for seed potatoes and seed catalogues, and order seeds and potatoes at a greatly reduced cost. Orders are ready for collection in February.

The shop is entirely run by volunteers, and we are always happy to welcome new volunteers. Volunteers do a shift every four weeks or so.  When we have a delivery of large quantities of heavy stuff, we rely on volunteers to help - at short notice unfortunately. If you live close to Stourbridge Grove or work from home, and would be prepared to give us your mobile number to be contacted for help with deliveries, please let us know.
